Acceptable use
The platform is shared, and these rules keep it fast, safe and fair. They apply to you and to any agent acting for you.
Stay in your Lane
Section titled “Stay in your Lane”Use only your own machines. Do not scan, probe or try to reach addresses that are not yours, on the private network or the platform. Isolation is audited, and a probe breaks the rules even when it fails.
Clean up
Section titled “Clean up”Machines count against your caps even when stopped, and running ones use capacity others could use. Delete Boxes and Runners you no longer need, and stop Boxes you are not using.
Keep secrets secret
Section titled “Keep secrets secret”- Your one-time token and your af certificate are your keys to your Lane. Never share them.
- Pass tokens and passwords on stdin only, never in machine names, labels, arguments or files af uploads.
- Lost a device? Follow A lost or stolen laptop right away.
Use it for your work
Section titled “Use it for your work”No abusive traffic, attacks on other systems, or anything illegal from your machines. Keep heavy jobs within your Lane’s size, and ask your admin when you need more.
When something looks wrong
Section titled “When something looks wrong”If you see something you should not, such as another person’s machine, or something that looks like a security problem, stop and tell your admin.
